BBC Look North, 17 April 2018.

BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire’s Tim Iredale interviewed campaign founder Pam Moorhouse and one of our supporting MPs Martin Vickers during the Parliamentary Launch on 17th April 2018, it was broadcast later that day on BBC Look North.

Pam and Martin talk about the meaningless unitary authority names being used and promoted in the media and by the local councils as well as people wrongly using them in their addresses rather than the historic and traditional county of Lincolnshire.

Unless specifically referring to the local authority there’s no reason to talk about North Lincolnshire or North East Lincolnshire. This is the whole point of the campaign, to preserve the ancient and historic traditional counties of the United Kingdom and not let them be eroded and forgotten in favour of nonsensical administrative entities which come and go and have no historic meaning nor form any part of our heritage or identity.
